Romantic Relationships Can Be Sweet or Sour

Dear Readers of My WordPress.com blog, I just want to tell you that romantic relationships can be like Sour Patch Kids candies … sweet but sour. The reason why I say that is because my first real one was a train wreck, & NOT only that, but the others that proceeded to come after weren’t so great for me either … except for yielding a friendship or two. When it comes to loving anyone, you’ve gotta learn to let Christ take the lead or else it’s ALWAYS gonna be destined for failure. Now, I don’t know how else to say this, so I’m just gonna blurt it out: cyber romantic relationships suck and long distance ones suck even the more!! In fact, that is exactly why this homeboy that is typing up this special relationship-based blog post is single today, besides the fact that I genuinely learned that I really wanna do ALL relationships, let alone romantic ones, God’s way!!! MAINTAINING MY HEALTH & WELLBEING

What strategies do you use to maintain your health and well-being?

This is exactly how I go about maintaining my health and wellbeing: 1. I go to the Lord, through reading His Word for wisdom. Speaking of this, I don’t always go to the Source first & foremost like I should; however, with His help, I’m working on getting better with that. , 2. I try, well, in all honesty at least sometimes to eat a healthy, balanced diet. I absolutely love fresh fruits and vegetables, yet there are times when I can use more access to them. , and 3. I do the best I can, most of the time, to take my allotted medications as prescribed so that my physical, mental, & even emotional wellbeing can stay in forward motion, rather than taking a steady downward spiral! This is extremely important because God Himself knows that my mom and I have absolutely 0 time for setbacks and illness. By God’s grace, I’ve been doing as well as I have, and with the help of Him I’m gonna keep it that way. Well, that’s all for now, you all!! Love you guys so very much. God bless!!! XOXO.

Hi, you guys! How are all of you doing? As you may already know, Gideon Joshua Parker here!! For those who didn’t know, well, at least until just now … now you know!!! The notable things that happened today were the fact that I got heavy into beginning a new, special edition episode of my original, groundbreaking podcast “Christmas Mix Radio”, and another is that I realized during my work on the podcast today that I’m madly in love with Jesus Christ more than I ever was before. Also, I began to have a supernatural joy begin to take over and take root in me and my life. I truly thank God for it!!!! Jesus is MY ENTIRE WORLD, and He means EVERYTHING to me!!!!! I’m so glad to be in a season of rediscovering my love for Him!!!!!! Also, I’m learning how to become more unbothered in my mentality about the things of this world [i.e. meaning the cares of this life]. Well, that’s all I have to share about for now. Dear fellow bloggers & readers of my blog, I really love CBN’s Superbook, and I’m going to explain why. Reason #1 why I love Superbook is because it’s Bible-based, action-packed, high-tech computer animation! Reason #2 why I love Superbook is because it’s fascinating how each episode is so intensely exciting yet wonderfully done in quality [well, MOST of them, in all honesty]. Reason #3 why I love Superbook is because with each new adventure that the show’s main characters of Chris, Joy, & Gizmo go on, you’re made to feel like you’re invited to tag along!! Dear fellow bloggers, I have something HUGE to say for this daily writing prompt for tonight! It’s this: “At the tender age of 5 years old, I first committed my life and heart to Jesus Christ, while watching Kenneth Copeland Ministries in my family’s old trailer. I did this because I was convicted by the Holy Spirit of God to do so, while paying very close attention to the message that Pastor Kenneth Copeland was preaching. That was the very FIRST TIME that I surrendered my whole life and heart to Jesus Christ! Fast forward years later, after I had backslidden as a young adult in my 20s, I recommitted my life to the Lord Jesus Christ, as well as my heart, after experiencing a world of sin from 2008-2009, when I attended trade school at Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center in Fishersville, Virginia & go through a spiritual phase and state of adult rebellion. Now, see, the rebellion wasn’t intended toward anyone else but God Almighty. That whole away-from-home experience [well, right up till the end] was a perfect example of the scripture in Psalm chapter 51, where the psalmist King David says to God, ‘It’s to You, and You alone, Lord, that I have sinned.’ I’m so glad to know that King Jesus is NOT only a healer but also a redeemer of all people and even their wrong life choices, if we’d let Him be!! Ever since, I’ve been experiencing the great adventure called living the Christian life with Jesus at the helm of the wheel all over again. So, with all of that said, what’s you all’s life story about God’s glory? Where’s you all’s place, in God’s sphere of amazing grace?? When you’re able to answer questions like these, then you’ll know that making Jesus Christ your personal Lord & Savior is life-transformative (as a highly great decision) for yourselves!!! Hey, y’all!!!!! How are all of you doing today? My favorite restaurant, hands-down, is Golden Corral in Newport News. You wanna know why?? They have the MOST food bars I’ve ever seen in a solitary buffet-style restaurant. Also, you can come for breakfast & stay for lunch, all for a low and economical cost. Plus, the food is extremely delicious!!!!!! In fact, I’m going there next month for a VERY SPECIAL event! Can y’all guess what it is??? It’s my birthday!! I’m not inviting my blog followers, though, because it’s only for my family. I just might choose to tell y’all about it, in a VERY SPECIAL blog post sometime, though. God bless!!! The End.

IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD

The Bible says in John Chapter 1, “In the beginning was the Word [Jesus], and the Word was with God. And the Word was God.” My personal question to you all is this: “Do you have a personal relationship with the Word (i.e. “Jesus”)?” Lord knows I do, and I’m so glad about it! Now, that’s NOT by any means to say that my relationship with the Word is perfect or that I’m perfect in my faith; however, I am saying that my relationship with the Word has room for growth and I am learning how to allow it to grow.
